  • Masterbilt  Automation Systems combines meticulous craftsmanship with industry-leading machine design and project management techniques. We design and build complex automated assembly machinery, aiming to cut production time and deliver outstanding product quality and value. Our systems are engineered for maximum reliability and simplified maintenance,      ensuring top-tier performance.

Requirements


  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for high-precision components and assemblies in CNC machining.
  • Leverage advanced automation technologies to design and build custom automated systems for assembly, testing, inspection, and processing.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software for part modeling, process drawing development, and CNC programming.
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including PFMEAs, flow charts, process sheets, operator standard work instructions, and visual controls.
  • Design and develop fixturing for proper work holding on various lathes and mills.
  • Monitor operations, troubleshoot processes, and optimize tool performance to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain safe and efficient operations by adhering to safety procedures and conducting regular equipment maintenance.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Travel up to 15% to other divisions in Phoenix, AZ,  and San Diego, CA.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in CNC manufacturing and automation.
  • Proficiency in interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and in using CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of machine shop equipment, including CNC machines, their functions, and capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Physical Demands:

  • This position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the use of hands and fingers.
  • The employee may be required to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Other Information:

  • Normal work hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
