Job Overview:
Manufacturing Engineer
- $80,000 - $90,000
- Location: Shepardsville, KY
- Monday - Friday | Days
- Industrial Product Manufacturing
We're recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading industrial products manufacturer.
This role focuses on equipment safety, ergonomics, OSHA compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Support manufacturing fixtures, machinery and tooling
- Review new equipment for safety compliance
- Support FMEA and plant safety programs
- Ensure OSHA and workplace safety compliance
- Conduct plant safety surveys and identify workplace hazards
- Support ergonomics and employee safety initiatives
- Monitor workplace exposure to noise, dust, fumes and other hazards
- Support ISO 14001 and environmental compliance
- Identify unsafe conditions and promote a safety-focused culture
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and safety processes
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ergonomics, FMEA or plant safety programs preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
