**Manufacturing Engineer: Seward, IL

**

Are you passionate about process efficiency, precision machining, and continuous improvement? We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team where innovation meets craftsmanship. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to drive quality and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

• Develop and maintain CNC programs across multiple controllers used in production, tooling, and maintenance

• Provide daily technical support to manufacturing teams—optimizing processes, improving practices, and enhancing product performance

• Create CAD models, process drawings, machining layouts, and fixture designs to support manufacturing and packaging needs

• Establish efficient routings, select optimal tools, and reduce machine cycle times while maintaining precision

• Troubleshoot tooling and capability issues, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met

• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Manage BOMs, item masters, and routings within operating systems, ensuring accurate documentation of all design or process changes

• Support quality assurance efforts by assisting with drawing interpretation, measurement, and fixture development

• Participate in re-quoting projects to ensure competitive pricing and healthy gross margins

• Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed

**Skills & Experience:

**

• **Education

  **: BS in Engineering, preferred but not required with equivalent experience

• **Experience

  **: Strong background in materials, machining processes, and CNC manufacturing, required

• **Knowledge:

  **Strong understanding of GD&T, required

• **Software:

  **SolidWorks and Esprit (or similar) CAM experience, required

** $75,000 - $90,000/year

**Type:

** Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site

**Schedule:

** Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
