**Manufacturing Engineer: Seward, IL
**

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team where innovation meets craftsmanship. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to drive quality and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:
**
Develop and maintain CNC programs across multiple controllers used in production, tooling, and maintenance
Provide daily technical support to manufacturing teams—optimizing processes, improving practices, and enhancing product performance
Create CAD models, process drawings, machining layouts, and fixture designs to support manufacturing and packaging needs
Establish efficient routings, select optimal tools, and reduce machine cycle times while maintaining precision
Troubleshoot tooling and capability issues, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Manage BOMs, item masters, and routings within operating systems, ensuring accurate documentation of all design or process changes
Support quality assurance efforts by assisting with drawing interpretation, measurement, and fixture development
Participate in re-quoting projects to ensure competitive pricing and healthy gross margins
Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed
**Skills & Experience:
**
**Education
**: BS in Engineering, preferred but not required with equivalent experience
**Experience
**: Strong background in materials, machining processes, and CNC manufacturing, required
**Knowledge:
**Strong understanding of GD&T, required
**Software:
**SolidWorks and Esprit (or similar) CAM experience, required
