POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer develops, improves, and supports manufacturing processes for precision-machined components from new product introduction through production. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production methods

  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements

  • Support CNC machining operations including process validation and troubleshooting

  • Analyze production data to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles

  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including routings, BOMs, and process sheets

  • Support new product launches from prototype through full production

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues

  • Evaluate equipment capabilities and recommend capital improvements as needed

  • Ensure familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, ESPRIT, VERICUT

  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
