We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D printing, SolidWorks, tooling and fixture design, machining, and assembly processes.
This individual will work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, improve efficiency, and implement solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and overall operational performance.
Support daily manufacturing operations, including machining, assembly, and production processes.
Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models, engineering designs, and 2D technical drawings.
Operate and support 3D printing/additive manufacturing systems for prototyping, tooling, and production applications.
Troubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and improve production performance.
Lead Root Cause and Corrective Measure (RCCM) investigations to identify and resolve production failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Provide technical support for equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience working with 3D printing systems.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
Experience designing and developing manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
Background supporting machining and assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Experience designing, developing, and implementing automated assembly and testing systems.
Knowledge of equipment qualification and validation processes, including IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification).
Experience managing engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Background in capital equipment procurement, including equipment selection, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning.
Proven success leading productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce costs, improve throughput, and increase operational efficiency.
Familiarity with manufacturing automation, process validation, and equipment integration.
