Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving manufacturing processes, and working with advanced automation and inspection technology. Responsibilities
- Support and improve manufacturing processes to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Keyence vision inspection systems.
- Work with Epson robotic automation systems, including programming and routine maintenance.
- Operate and optimize laser etching processes.
- Adjust and calibrate camera vision systems to ensure accurate inspection and part identification.
- Assist with AI-driven vision system setup and optimization (training available for the right candidate).
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Provide technical support for production equipment and automation systems.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing Engineering or related technical experience.
- Experience with Keyence vision inspection equipment is highly preferred.
- Programming experience with industrial automation or vision systems.
- Experience with Epson robots or similar robotic systems preferred.
- Knowledge of machine vision cameras, calibration, and inspection technology.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
- Flexible schedule available
- Salaried position with very few, if any, after-hours calls
