Full Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer provides foundational technical support within the production environment, including design, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes that meet organizational KPI’s and goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role assists with APQP deliverables, participates in change management activities, and supports process improvements. While not an owner of these systems, the Manufacturing Engineer I contributes through accurate documentation, data gathering, and execution of assigned tasks.
Essential Duties
Qualifications – Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
• Foundational exposure to:
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance on complex or cross-functional issues.
Performance Measures
• Timely and accurate support of APQP deliverables (PFMEA, control plans, process flows) and change management activities.
• Demonstrated contributions to waste identification and measurable reductions.
• Effective support of capital project development and execution within defined budgets and timelines.
• Accurate data collection and participation in structured cost-savings tracking.
• Achievement of safety goals through hazard identification and implementation of engineering controls.
• On-time completion of assigned engineering tasks, tooling, and process improvements.
• Effective support of new product or process launches.
• Positive feedback from cross-functional partners and production teams.
