In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is required. Typically 5 to 7+ years' experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control methodologies.
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and embrace new challenges.
