evelop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes required to meet business needs for existing and new products. Utilize and support individual, team and quality/process improvement efforts to assure manufacturing processes meet requirements for process capability, safety, customer service and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:
**

Design, improve, maintain, and implement manufacturing processes based on input from manufacturing leadership, maintenance activities, operators, and direct observation.
·
Plan and define sequences of operations to fabricate and assemble parts and products, including development of equipment layouts, material flow, and workspace organization to improve efficiency.
·
Train maintenance and production personnel on new and revised process procedures to support consistent and repeatable production.
·
Maintain process documentation in accordance with established standards.
·
Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all processes and equipment.
·
Develop manufacturing process plans to meet all manufacturing requirements for safety, ergonomics, process capability, quality and cost.
·
Present process concepts, implement approved solutions, and manage work to schedule and budget expectations.
·
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing activities, to improve safety, cost, ergonomics, quality, and process capability.
·
Monitor processes for compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements through audits and process controls.
·
Communicate findings, take corrective actions and design/implement engineered solutions to maintain compliance
·
Monitor production quality and ensure processes consistently meet required quality standards.
·
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related engineering issues.
·
Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing engineering and production team members on issues related to product manufacturability
·

**Education:
¨NBSP;
**Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering is required
**
Experience:
**
·
4 plus years of experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity
·
Metal fabrication experience is preferred
**

Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities

Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified workload

Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
