Electrician (Manufacturing & Engineering)

Location: Covington, LA

Pay: $26.00 plus per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Electrician III for a manufacturing and engineering facility in Covington. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components used in industrial manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical components and equipment
• Build and wire control panels and instrument panels
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience wiring industrial equipment and control panels
• Knowledge of electrical assembly techniques and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
