Job Description

• Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (Rockwell Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View ME/SE, Ignition).
• Support automation systems tied to production equipment, including motor controls, VFDs, servos, sensors, and high-speed processing equipment.
• Support projects from scope through implementation, including panel builds, instrumentation installs, and system commissioning.
• Partner with Operations and Facilities teams to prioritize work and improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, NFPA 70E, and plant safety requirements.
• Provide documentation, training, and support for plant automation systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering within manufacturing
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, etc.).
• Experience with VFDs, servo drives, instrumentation, and process automation.
• Support off-shift or weekend work during critical production needs.

Compensation:

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
