We are seeking a skilled Manual Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by operating manual press brake machines to shape and form metal components with precision. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine the correct bending sequences and tooling requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a manuel press brake operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
