What You'll Do

• Perform precision manual surface grinding on tooling and machined components
• Work with tight tolerances as close as +/-.0005
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up and make machine adjustments and offsets as needed
• Perform ID, OD, Jig, and surface grinding operations
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
• Support assembly and finishing operations as required
• Maintain high quality standards and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of manual surface grinding experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience working to very tight tolerances
• Proficiency using:
• Strong mathematical and inspection skills
• Own tools related to grinding and measurement preferred
• Reliable work history and strong work ethic

Schedule

The facility operates between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM and offers flexible scheduling within those hours.

Typical schedules include:

• Monday-Friday
• Approximately 40-55 hours per week
• Occasional Saturday work as needed
