Our client is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with strong Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) experience to join their team in Broken Arrow. This is a hands-on role supporting industrial valve and mechanical equipment repair operations within a shop environment.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong manual machining experience who takes pride in precision work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality finished parts.

**6am-4:30pm (some overtime may be required)
Pay:
$25.00-$30.00/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs)
- Machine and repair industrial components to precise tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, machining drawings, and work orders
- Perform precision measurements and inspections using appropriate tools
- Support repair and refurbishment of valve and mechanical equipment components
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with shop personnel to support production schedules and project timelines
Qualifications
- Strong experience operating manual VTL equipment or similar required
- Ability to read blueprints and machining drawings
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision machining
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable work history and strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or GED required
