In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Make adjustments to machines as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a manual machinist, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
