Machine large and heavy components to required dimensions and tolerances.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
Perform operations such as turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, and related manual machining.

Make adjustments during machining to maintain required dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
Safely handle and position large workpieces and materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Ability to independently set up and run manual lathe jobs.
Experience machining large or custom parts is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of traditional/manual machining processes.
Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
Ability to select tooling and determine appropriate machining parameters.
CNC machining experience is a plus but is not a substitute for manual lathe experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
This role is ideal for a seasoned machinist who enjoys hands-on manual machining and is comfortable working with larger, custom components. If you have years of experience running manual lathes and can take a job from drawing through setup, machining, measurement, and completion, we want to hear from you.
