Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Perform quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist in training junior machinists and share best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
