Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40205. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, using your expertise to create precision parts and components.

Hours: 6am-2:30pm, M-F

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in training new machinists as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
