Manual Machinist – Lathe Operator

Manual Machinist Job Highlights:

• Full-time, 1stshift position, 4-10’s, 6:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday.

• Pay: Hourly pay ranging from $24-35 per hour, depending on experience

Manual Machinist Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes to machine precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to ensure accurate machining
• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify tolerances
• Safely operate overhead cranes, and other lifting devices to handle large components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA and company safety guidelines

Manual Machinist Job Requirements:

• at least 3 years of experience with manual machining experience, lathe operation preferred.
• Familiarity with lathe operation and precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks as needed
