Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Gonzales, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manual machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
