About This Opportunity

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is assisting an Akron, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm that seeks to hire an experienced Manual Machinist who can operate 5HP Bridgeport-style manual mills and manual lathes. This is a hands-on role focused on low-volume, precision component production for custom automation systems and specialty equipment.

Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate 5HP Bridgeport-style manual mills and manual lathes.

• Precision Production: Machine low-volume, precision components from various materials including aluminum, alloy steel, and stainless steel.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and work directly from technical blueprints, engineering sketches, and design layouts to hold tight tolerances.
• Setup & Tooling: Select appropriate tooling, indicate parts, and verify secure work-holding using NMBT tooling systems.
• Quality Control: Perform thorough first-piece and in-process dimensional inspections using standard precision measuring instruments.
• Shop Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and collaborative workshop environment.

Requirements- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist operating manual mills (Bridgeport-style) and manual lathes and surface grinders.

• Strong ability to read blueprints and work from sketches with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of work-holding, part indication, and NMBT tooling.
• Experience machining aluminum, alloy steel, and stainless steel.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to tight tolerance precision.
