Location: McPherson, KS, 67460

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team at Plastic Extrusion Machinery LLC in McPherson, KS. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual lathes, vertical lathes, and manual grinders to produce high-quality machined parts. We are looking for a machinist with 1+ years of experience in Lathe Manual Machining. The Machinist would be expected to work no less than 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities and Duties

Candidate will operate a Manual Lathe Machine.

The successful candidate must have experience in the following:

*Operate Manual Lathes

*Operating conventional lathes

*Operating surface grinder

*Precision measuring tools (I.D. and O.D. micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.)

*Applying proper speeds and feeds

*Interpreting blueprint drawings and geometric tolerances at an expert level
