We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Lathe Machine Grind Operator to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process by operating manual lathe machines to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathe machines to grind and shape metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and quality.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
Proven experience operating manual lathe machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
