Job Description

Manual Cutter Grinders will sharpen various types of machine tools (drill bits, end mills, straight and round blades, etc.) and achieve necessary geometry for them to cut properly by using manual cutter grinder machines. They will inspect tooling sent in by various machine shops and complete work within the given time frame so that the tooling can be delivered back to the customer on various routes. There is a need to be self motivated while working in a deadline oriented space. They will need to inspect tooling with extreme attention to detail both before and after sharpening. They will need to be able to navigate around sparks, hot tooling, sharp tooling and loud enviorments to remain safe in the workplace.

In addition to this they also will need to follow any additional company policies and procedures regarding safety, follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks directed by supervisor, and be able to sit, stand, stoop, carry boxes up to 75 and push carts weighing up to 250 pounds.

Fluency in english is a must and previous experience in a machine shop or cutter grinding setting is preferred.
