Position Overview

Lead a team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications. Lead the design and life cycle of new development on existing and future applications. Provide
industry thought leadership and act as a high-level decision maker in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding
standards. Duties:

• Lead, develop, and recruit for the web application team. Supervise the design, development, and testing. Support developers in a technical and non-technical capacity.

• Interpret and translate business specifications into technical specifications.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to recommend technology solutions for business digital transformation then lead the technical solution process to build the detailed blueprint for how technology will solve the problem.

• Produce architectural blueprints consistent with the company’s IT technical vision and strategy.

• Participate in the development and alignment of architecture strategies across the organization. Create, establish and sustain technical architecture standards.

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for our enterprise applications and ensure stable systems availability, performance, compliance, and security.

• Participate in on-call rotation and assist team members in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Supervise 2 - 5 employees (Software Engineers and Developers).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and five (5) years of industry experience in architecture and delivery of software products and solutions. Total experience must include one (1) year of experience designing and implementing off-prem public cloud (GCP) environments, architectures and operational models.

Telecommuting possible.
