Role: Manager, Maintenance Execution - Mobile

The role of the Manager, Maintenance Execution Improvements - Mobile is designed to support Improving the Reliability Performance and maximizing the production out of our Mobile Asset, proactively identifying and providing technical support around Maintenance Execution Excellence and Asset Reliability Improvements to specific Mobile Equipment Fleets, and  Project manage, Coordinate and oversee successful execution of Mobile Equipment Assembly, Planned Component Replacement and/or any Supporting Facilities Across the Mine sites in US, Canada, and Mexico. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Implementation of Maintenance Execution Improvements (Regular Maintenance (Preventive/Corrective), PCR/Midlife rebuilds and Outage work for critical assets)
  • Manage Projects, Coordination, and oversee successful execution of New Mobile Equipment Assembly and Planned Component replacement (PCR), as well as the New Maintenance Shop
  • Optimize work execution. Implement Standards of how Maintenance gets work done in the field (tasks, sequency, trade competency, best practices, overall downtime improvement, quality execution and safety)
  • Embed Safety Standards and Critical Controls for a successful Maintenance Execution
  • Complete Maintenance Diagnostics using Maintenance and Continuous Improvement methodologies (Benchmarking, DILOS/Time Analysis, Schedule compression, MOS, 5S, FMEA, etc), develops and Stewards Improvements Implementation plans for critical Business Opportunities
  • Support Equipment Lifecycle costing analysis (LCC) and Optimization of Equipment Life. Lead Asset Disposition Analysis/Reconditioning Analysis for Mobile Fleet
  • Work with sites Maintenance Managers to Identify and prioritize Asset Performance threats to Production/Bad Actors
  • Support Corporate Maintenance and Reliability Audits
  • Support Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of Catastrophic failures. 
  • Support Mobile Equipment Budgeting process and assumptions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience Maintenance Specialist/Heavy Duty Mechanic with 15+ years of experience in Asset Management, Maintenance Execution and Project Management Leadership roles.
  • Experience working with OEM processes, Commercials, Warranty, rebuilds/parts remanufacturing, etc.
  • Experience facilitating Maintenance Risk Mitigation sessions using methodologies as RCM, FMEA, etc
  • Experience facilitating and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Experience with NDT, Oil sampling and Reliability monitoring tools.
  • Technical Experience with Heavy Haul Trucks, Shovels, Loaders, Drills, Graders, and Dozers
  • Project Management experience dealing with cross functional teams.
  • Leadership experience with Maintenance Execution Excellence for Mobile Equipment 
  • Planned Component Replacement/Outage/Turnaround experience is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities within the Operational Excellence context.

  • Proficiency with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets and effective oral and written communication skills required.
  • Advance experience with CMMS (Oracle EAM will be a plus)
  • Ability to influence / negotiate Improvement Opportunities with Site Maintenance Leadership teams.
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Team, Outlook, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong Organization Skills
  • Must be flexible to accommodate a dynamic working environment. 
  • Travel on as needed basis to US, Canada, and Mexico sites (40-50%)
