Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Leader to join the Avionics – Core Services & Libraries organization in Bangalore.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of middleware, core software libraries, and platform-level software applications supporting Collins Aerospace avionics products.
You will combine strong technical expertise with people leadership and program execution, guiding engineering teams through complex New Product Development programs and ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives.

General Engineering Requirement:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
For engineering/technical positions, a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with relevant professional experience is typically required, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
