Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Own workstreams and individual projects end-to-end for assigned business area, category, or prototype. Manage risks associated with implementations. Establish and actively monitor key financial, operational, and Payment 'Health Metrics' to enhance operational excellence. Elevate the seller experience and mitigate payment friction. Work directly with product, operations, and other business partners on key processes to create efficiency, reduce errors, and help marketplace seller payments scale. Recognize possibilities for streamlining and automating processes. Keep a vigilant eye on incidents and escalations, pinpoint gaps, assess their impact on sellers, articulate protocols and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and effectively communicate findings to leadership. Help create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and offer guidance and constructive feedback. Tackle intricate business challenges through the application of advanced analytics to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Formulate strategic recommendations to the team based on thorough data analysis. Orchestrate and implement the data analysis strategy and offer guidance to partner support team. Develop and design comprehensive dashboards and reports to meticulously monitor the performance of seller opened cases. Ensure proactive identification and resolution of any issues. Implement robust tracking mechanisms to prevent escalations and promptly addresses concerns faced by sellers. Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of case management processes. Manage resource allocation. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Information Science, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Information Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience creating data visualizations to facilitate effective communication and support business decision-making. Experience implementing data strategy to enhance data governance and ensure high data quality standards. Experience with SQL programming and working with databases, including the integration and analysis of data from diverse sources. Experience supporting product discovery, offering business impact assessments, and evaluating the performance of product features. Experience driving process improvement initiatives to scale data and measurement solutions. Experience executing data analysis and developing customer-focused business solutions. Experience with strategic planning and decision-making to align operational activities with organizational goals. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $133,952/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
