**Man Lift Operator **

Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

New Millennium Building Systems is seeking a Man Lift Operator to support steel installation on large-scale cold storage and industrial construction projects. This position involves operating a 4-man atrium/spider lift and working at heights of up to 80 feet while secured in a safety harness.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 4-man aerial/man lift (atrium spider lift) to perform elevated work.
• Safely operate the lift at heights of up to 80 feet.
• Wear and properly use a fall-protection harness while working at elevation.
• Set and operate outriggers on both sides of the lift for stability and safety.
• Assist with installation of steel joists, steel decking, floor decking, and metal roofing.
• Position and maneuver the lift to safely support elevated steel installation.
• Work closely with other members of the lift crew to coordinate movement and positioning.
• Follow all required fall-protection, aerial-lift, OSHA, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Complete pre-operation inspections of the lift and safety equipment.
• Maintain awareness of overhead hazards, structural steel, equipment, and other workers.
• Work outdoors and comfortably at significant heights for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a man lift, boom lift, JLG, aerial lift, or similar equipment preferred.
• Experience with steel erection, ironwork, metal buildings, roofing, or commercial construction is highly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 80 feet.
• Must be willing and able to wear a fall-protection harness.
• Previous fall-protection or aerial-lift certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
