Following our agreement with Roche to acquire the Vacaville manufacturing facility, we are now looking to recruit a Mammalian Senior Program Management Business Analyst for the Vacaville site!

The Mammalian Senior Program Management Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring data quality, financial compliance, and informed decision-making within the S&OP cycle. Key responsibilities include providing accurate site revenue predictions, facilitating profitability analysis, assisting PMs with financial data recording, and a contact for financial audits. Reporting to the Site PM Head, the Senior Business Analyst will work with the PM Team and Integration team to transition the Vacaville financial forecasting, in alignment with Lonza’s regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Site PM Head, the Senior Business Analyst will work with the PM Team and Integration team to transition the Vacaville financial forecasting, in alignment with Lonza’s regulations and standards.

  • Ensure data quality, financial compliance, and informed decision-making within the S&OP cycle.

  • Uses all Standard Work processes as defined for the Business Analyst role

  • Provide accurate site revenue landing predictions through management and facilitation of the standard work tools and meetings.

  • Analyze and align with finance to ensure revenue invoiced is recognized within the month and oversight on deferred revenue

  • Analyze the planning outlook, making necessary corrections to ensure data accuracy for financial planning cycles and target setting.

  • Facilitate meetings and provide analysis to examine site profitability.

  • Support the correction of program inaccuracies affecting revenue outlook and implement solutions to address data discrepancies.

  • Illustrate and communicate changes in site outlook clearly and concisely.

  • Ensure effective tracking tools are in place, align with internal stakeholders, and promote globally standardized tools and methodologies within the PM department.

  • Build strong relations with internal stake holders, Program Managers, Billing, Finance, Supply Chain and Program team members.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Life Science/Business/Finance

  • Lean and Six Sigma certification green belt preferred

  • Strong experience in business analysis with a focus on data quality and financial compliance.

  • Ability to effectively multi-task with evolving priorities

  • Extensive experience of SAP IBP, Business Warehouse & PowerBI systems

  • Expertise in delivering accurate revenue predictions and managing global deliverables.

  • Proficiency in financial recognition rules and deferred revenue topics

  • Experience in facilitating profitability analysis and Senior Management level meetings.

  • Skilled in identifying and correcting data inaccuracies and implementing effective solutions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This position is contingent upon Lonza’s successful completion of the acquisition of the site located in Vacaville, California (the “Closing”), currently anticipated to occur in H2, 2024. If the Closing is delayed for any reason, Lonza may delay the start date up to sixty (60) days.

The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $118,800.00 and $138,600. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
