Summary 

This position is onsite at the plant in Wilson, NC

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties with primary focus to program, maintain, and improve ABB 800xA DCS (Distributed Control System) PLC automated process controls systems.  Additionally, to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives. Responsible for managing projects up to $1,000,000 dollars. Additional responsibilities working on IT support and potential projects.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Ability to program ABB 800xA system, Matrikon OPC, Allen Bradley to ABB interface systems.
• Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to on-site desktop support and other IT support.

Education / Experience

• Programming experience within ABB systems technical training/Electronic technical training and a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience required. Systems include:   ABB, Allen Brandley and OPC 
• Prior desktop knowledge and experience with basic networking.
