Shift: 12-hour Rotating Shift
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in a chemical processing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial process equipment as well as facility systems.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on plant equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems such as pumps, gear reducers, exhaust fans, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and packagers.
Troubleshoot and repair process equipment and facility systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Installation & Troubleshooting:
Install and troubleshoot new equipment and support electrical maintenance activities, including work with control systems and PLCs.
Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts as needed.
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance documentation using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Keep detailed records of planned and completed maintenance for future reference.
Vendor & Inventory Management:
Interface with vendors and OEMs to coordinate repairs and procure spare parts.
Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
Support & Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Assist in training programs and support site safety initiatives, including participation in failure analysis processes to determine root causes of equipment failures.
Education & Experience:
Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a similar technical field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in preventive maintenance and reliability within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in roles such as pipefitter, machinist, millwright, or similar is required.
Hands-on experience working with rotating equipment, conveyor systems, PLCs, and process equipment; welding experience is an asset.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and P&IDs.
Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape measures and micrometers.
Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, man lift) is required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Ability to work overtime as needed, including call-outs on off-shifts and weekends.
