We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st shift at our Anderson, South Carolina Facility.
JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician's primary objective is to perform preventative maintenance and repair work on various machinery and mobile equipment used for material handling, metal fabrication and assembly of road construction equipment and trailers. This person is responsible for completing work orders in a timely manner to optimize machine availability and uptime as well as perform general facilities maintenance work. Senior Maintenance Technicians are expected to have masterly level skills at troubleshooting a broad range of equipment and make significant contributions to preventative maintenance solutions and the apprenticeship program.
MAJOR DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma required; additional technical certification in multi-craft maintenance (or similar) preferred. Ten plus years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in a manufacturing setting required to include experience with CNC troubleshooting, 3 phase power / 480v and low voltage circuits: PLC troubleshooting a plus. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and service mindset are essential as well as being self-driven with the ability to work autonomously with limited direction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required.
