Job Overview:

 

This position will be directly responsible for performing activities that promote Reliable Capacity of all Evapco Assets.  This will include (but not limited to) activities such as: performing repairs, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, and capital project installations.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility 

  • Safety: Execute and comply with all Safety Standards required by Evapco.
  • Quality: Complete job tasks to provide the highest level of opportunity for our Assets to achieve maximum efficiency for our customers.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Required.
  • Efficiently and effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and supervision of job assignments, continuous improvement ideas, and critical asset opportunities.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing work orders following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Document work order completion with all required information for sustainability of Asset Reliability.
  • Job tasks can include maintaining, inspecting, repairing all Assets.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

  • We are seeking an individual with a desire to learn, grow, and provide fanatical customer service to our Production Team.
  • We prefer 1-3 years of work experience in the maintenance environment or equivalent work experience and education.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings and BOM’s required
  • Use and understanding of various measuring devices, common to support the equipment used in our production processes.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to recognize problems
  • Can deal with conflict in a positive manner
  • Word, Excel knowledge and ability to learn all EVAPCO software-based programs 

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily works at ground level, by requires periodic working at up to 40 feet on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
  • Constant lifting of many different parts, tools, and assemblies within and may be over 50 lbs.
  • Some work requires crawling, squatting, bending, kneeling, and working in awkward positions at times.
  • Requires good mechanical hand coordination and cognitive abilities.
  • Temperature Extremes, in general, from 20° F. to 110° F.
  • Requires very good agility (i.e. bending, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, squatting, twisting, and lifting)
  • Driving forklifts and operating cranes
  • Normal work week Monday through Friday, Saturday work likely, some Sunday work
