Overview

TekPro are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our client's modernized, high-tech manufacturing facility located in Bloomingdale, IL. This position is available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues effectively.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in the training of new maintenance staff as needed.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role.
Strong skills in industrial and manufacturing engineering principles.
Expertise in equipment troubleshooting, including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
