Overview

TekPro are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our client's modernized, high-tech manufacturing facility located in Bloomingdale, IL. This position is available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the training of new maintenance staff as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role.
• Strong skills in industrial and manufacturing engineering principles.
• Expertise in equipment troubleshooting, including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
