We are hiring a midnight shift Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining all CNC equipment to ensure minimum downtime and maximum life. Must have previous CNC Maintenance experience. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:


  • Perform maintenance: Execute planned and preventive maintenance schedules for CNC machines, manual machines, and other related equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair: Diagnose and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. 
  • Install equipment: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain machine tools and their controls. 
  • Support production: Work with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure machines are running efficiently. 
  • Maintain documentation: Create detailed reports and records of maintenance and repair activities. 
  • Ensure safety: Adhere to industrial safety laws, codes, and practices. 

Skills and qualifications

  • Technical skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electronics. 
  • Control systems: Experience with CNC machine controllers (e.g., Fanuc) and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs. 
  • Reading and interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and electrical ladder logic diagrams. 
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly resolve unique equipment issues. 
  • Manual dexterity: Physical ability to perform manual labor, operate tools, and handle machinery. 
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with a vocational or trade school education preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and CNC machine repair is necessary. 

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or higher
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of CNC Maintenance background
  • Electrical Background
  • Proficient in windows operating system and file structure
  • Mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Good work ethic and leadership skills
  • Self-motivate
  • Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
