Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift (8pm to 5am)

 Varies, Monday – Friday & weekends when needed. Salary based on experience, pay range based on experience/training. 

 

  1. Service all plant equipment through preventive, scheduled and emergency repair work orders.

  2. Diagnose and perform repairs and calibrations on electromechanical and solid state-of-the-art equipment.

  3. Assist other team members in completing work orders/task per maintenance schedule.

  4. May be part of the Emergency Response team.

  5. Adhere to all NEC code regulations accordingly.

  6. Perform other duties assigned by Supervisors.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as well as read schematics in various departments. 

  • May be required to lift more than 40 lbs. at times.

  • Has general understanding how chemicals work

  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English. 

  • Work experience pertaining refrigeration system

  • Ability to use multimeters and electronic test equipment, read schematics and diagrams. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 2-year associate degree in an Maintenance related field

• Certifications and/or Registered license in Mechanical field

 

Position available: Immediately at Jennie-O Plant Melrose, MN.
