Job description

Help keep production running at an aerospace and defense component manufacturer. We’re recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment. This is a hands-on role that keeps operations reliable through preventive maintenance, sharp troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

What you’ll do

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test equipment, and make adjustments
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Perform basic machining, plumbing maintenance, and carpentry tasks
• Safely use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment
• Follow lockout/tagout, safety, and PPE requirements
• Report equipment defects and unsafe conditions, and keep work areas clean and organized

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills, plus PLC and HVAC experience
• Working knowledge of VFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and electrical circuits
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
• High school diploma or GED, plus a recognized craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience
• Ability to work at heights and around hazardous chemicals with required PPE
• Dependable attendance, clear communication, and availability for extended hours during peak workloads

Preferred: Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance

Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 75 lbs; bending, twisting, carrying, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
