RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY

This position is responsible in ensuring the scheduling, execution, and documentation of activities associated with LivaNova preventive maintenance and equipment calibration systems. Under limited or minimal supervision the maintenance technician is responsible for the execution of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance activities on LivaNova production and engineering support equipment. Under general supervision, the maintenance technician diagnoses/locates failures, performs equipment repair and/or component/equipment replacement, verification and documentation of equipment requiring unscheduled maintenance activities.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

  • Review maintenance schedule in advance of due dates for planning purposes with outside vendors and ensuring sufficient supplies are available.

  • Maintain LivaNova existing equipment as prescribed in maintenance procedures

  • Assist in established preventative maintenance program

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, order supplies as needed, and facilitate its repair or replacement

  • Assist in the relocation and installation of equipment

  • Thoroughly documents maintenance activities in company’s records as dictated by LivaNova Quality System

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

  • Knowledge and/or experience with preventive maintenance programs

  • Experience working with an Asset Management Software program

  • Strong analytical aptitude

  • Ability to read and understand technical maintenance instructions and troubleshoot problems

  • Above average written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Suite.

  • Proficient data entry skills with minimal errors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in a technical field

  • Prior maintenance experience and knowledge of electronic, physical and dimensional equipment measurement characteristics are highly desirable.

  • Experience in maintenance of automated equipment

  • Knowledge and/or experience with predictive maintenance programs

  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Blue Mountain Quality Resources database software

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $25 – $30 per hour + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
