The Role
The Maintenance Technician, under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required. The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with PLC controlled equipment, pneumatic power and electricity with voltages of up to 480 volts. Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Under general supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves, and setups and other facilities related tasks.
Under general supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include minor troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
Document all work worker activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing the work order to provide documented records of the maintenance performed
Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
Who You Are
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus
Approachable, Team Player, Adaptable

Experience in using Microsoft Outlook and Word programs

Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner.
2-4 years’ experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
2-4 years’ experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.
Experienced with hand and power tools
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License
Forklift Certification
