Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including conveyor systems and servo motors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, VFDs, and other automation equipment.
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Assist in the programming and wiring of PLCs, ensuring proper functionality.
- Utilize your hydraulics experience to maintain and repair hydraulic systems.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in equipment technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting skills with experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Solid electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of machine safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics and industrial automation equipment.
- Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servo motors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
