Salary Range:$18.00 To $22.88 Hourly
10% Shift Differential
Available Schedules:
- Monday-Friday | 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Machine Rebuild & Repair Department)
- Sunday-Thursday | 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, plus every other Friday 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Maintenance Department)

At Scot Forge, you'll play a critical role in supporting world-class manufacturing. Depending on your experience and interests, you'll join either our Maintenance Team, responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently, or our Machine Rebuild & Repair Team, specializing in rebuilding, repairing, upgrading, and restoring heavy industrial equipment.
Scot Forge is an employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings used in demanding applications around the world.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities may include:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair heavy industrial machinery
- Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
- Perform precision machine repairs, component replacement, alignment, fitting, and mechanical assembly.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Perform welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs.
- Operate and troubleshoot furnaces and control systems.
- Inspect cranes, hoists, chains, and lifting equipment.
- Read blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial Maintenance
- Machine Rebuilding & Repair
- Millwright
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Heavy Equipment Repair
- Manufacturing Maintenance
- Industrial Mechanics
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance, machine repair, rebuild, or machine installation OR
- Completed or currently enrolled in Mechatroinics Apprenticeship / Technical Degree program
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Preventive and predictive maintenance experience preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working Conditions
This position works in a manufacturing environment with operating forklifts, overhead cranes, furnaces, and heavy industrial equipment. Employees may be exposed to high temperatures, outdoor weather, wet or humid conditions, loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, and industrial chemicals.
The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, crouching, overhead work, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 65 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

The estimated pay range reflects the range Scot Forge reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, certifications, shift assignment, and other business-related factors.
