Scope of Responsibility:
Repairs and maintains machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment such as CNC machines, furnaces, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic tools, leak test equipment, and various other production equipment and tooling according to equipment specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and local codes and regulations. This role will require training on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm) before being moved to 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am).
Key Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment according to developed standards.
- Reports status of repairs and work orders utilizing the Maintenance Management System (MMS).
- Troubleshoots, inspects, maintains, and repairs industrial equipment utilizing knowledge and skills in industrial electrical components, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics as necessary.
- Communicates accurately, concisely, and professionally with internal customers regarding important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion.
- Participates in daily team meetings, prioritizing and reviewing daily work schedules.
- Can operate production equipment to the level required to troubleshoot and test.
- Works with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and representatives to troubleshoot and repair/ maintain equipment.
- Adheres to all company policies and is consistently at work on time for scheduled shift.
- Maintains assigned workspace, equipment, and tools to company standards.
- Performs other maintenance, project, and supporting tasks as assigned.
- Flexible working schedule to accommodate occasional off-shift and weekend work, as necessary.
- Potential of on-call rotation schedule as necessary to support business needs in the future.

Education / Background Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED minimum (or willing to complete Alfa Laval GED program within 12-months of employment).
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience in a production/manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience.
- Able to use hand tools and measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
- Able to read & understand manuals, prints, & schematics.
- Good communication skills, basic computer/tablet skills.
- Must be able to comprehend and comply with all OSHA and company safety and electrical regulations including Lock Out / Tag Out.
- Comfortable working in a production environment and interacting with all levels of associates.
- Able to lift 60 pounds.
