Job Overview:
If you are a Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Chanhassen location, you will work on 2nd Shift (M-TH 3:00PM to 1:30AM) and have an opportunity to apply your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of sophisticated production machinery and mechanical equipment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Responding to equipment breakdowns by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the goal of minimizing downtime
- Documenting work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records utilizing a CMMS
- Installing, modifying, and upgrading equipment as needed
- Working cross-functionally with production teams
- Maintaining tools, parts inventory, and maintenance supplies
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology or related
- Ability to work 1st shift hours
- Experience with measuring and hand tools
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Maintenance or job-related experience
- Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment
- Strong mechanical, electrical aptitude highly preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $54,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
