Job Overview:

If you are a Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Chanhassen location, you will work on 2nd Shift (M-TH 3:00PM to 1:30AM) and have an opportunity to apply your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of sophisticated production machinery and mechanical equipment. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures 
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems 
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the goal of minimizing downtime
  • Documenting work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records utilizing a CMMS  
  • Installing, modifying, and upgrading equipment as needed 
  • Working cross-functionally with production teams
  • Maintaining tools, parts inventory, and maintenance supplies 
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology or related
  • Ability to work 1st shift hours 
  • Experience with measuring and hand tools
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States 

 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Maintenance or job-related experience
  • Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment
  • Strong mechanical, electrical aptitude highly preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $54,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
