Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations at our facility in Ambridge, PA (15003). If you have a knack for mechanical troubleshooting and experience in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assemble, intall, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
- Utlize or fabricate all types of mechanical parts (fitting, valves, etc.) needed from cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel plate, structural steel members and other metals.
- Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Two years' experience working in a manufacturing or industrial enviroment required.
- Basic trouble shooting skills with ability to assist with repairs and diagnostics of advanced prcoessing equipment, CNC, material handling system, press brakes, lifting devices and sawing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
