We are looking for individuals with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair to join our maintenance team. These technicians will be tasked with performing complicated repairs to hydraulic and electric machines as well as other repairs as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction is essential for this position.

Daily job tasks look like the following:

  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machinery and related equipment.
  • Maintaining equipment operating logs and properly document activities while on duty.
  • Completing repair of hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, pneumatic circuits, electrical systems and fixtures.
  • Troubleshooting ability is required along with welding and fabrication skills.
  • Following all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards.
  • Repairing and conducting PM's on all auxiliary equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance concerns and issues and works to assist with the resolution of them.
  • Moves, installs and adjusts fixtures, motors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Reduce machine downtime and improve manufacturing process.
  • Perform problem analysis and resolution.

Requirements

 

· High School diploma or equivalent and excellent mechanical aptitude.

· Previous experience troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, air compressor, and air dryer work experience.

· Knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC experience required.

· Knowledge of machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, troubleshooting and National Electric Code

· Ability to read and understand basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. Ability to read blue prints.

· Solid knowledge in industrial electricity, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding equipment and power safety.

· Ability to climb overhead structures, and to work underneath machines in close quarters in order to perform day-to-day tasks.

· Good communication skills maintaining professional and respectful work environment.

· Ability to work independently under minimum general supervision and

· Ability to work additional hours on short notice, including weekends, is required.
