Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair injection and extrusion blow molding equipment
Troubleshoot and support hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Perform maintenance on plant utilities including:- Compressed air systems
- Chilled water systems
- Vacuum systems (loaders, pumps, blenders)
- Conveyors, grinders, and robotics
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and parts lists
Diagnose equipment issues using tools such as multimeters, amp clamps, and gauges
Complete and manage work orders through internal systems (IQMS)
Coordinate parts ordering and ensure proper documentation of repairs
Support plant maintenance during overtime, weekends, and shutdowns
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Understanding of high-voltage systems and 24VDC controls
- Willingness to learn and expand technical capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with plastics/molding equipment
- Familiarity with machining tools (mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.)
- Welding experience (steel, stainless, aluminum)
- Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance fields
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and moving equipment
- Regular standing, walking, climbing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
