About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing facility in Holland, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine mechanical, preventative, building, and grounds maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and prioritizing preventative and routine equipment, facilities, mechanical, and custodial maintenance tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance in all areas (including stamping, tool room, assembly, and facilities).
- Perform emergency repairs.
- Troubleshooting all problems of mechanical (shafts, cams, gears, etc.), electrical, drives, servo motors, HVAC, and PLCs.
- Assist with installation and/or moves of equipment throughout the facility.
- Submit requests to order machinery parts or components from outside sources.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret building floor plans, and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Proficient PC skills, email, and ERP systems.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and self-directed.
- Must have own basic tools (specialty tools provided).
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to attain a hi-lo and man-lift license (training provided).
- Able to work from heights
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess knowledge of servo drive controls and motors.
- Possess knowledge of electrical applications.
- Strong inventive and analytical skills.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and metal stamping process.
