Maintenance Technician

• $28 - $33 p/h
• 2nd or 3rd shift Available | 2pm - 11pm | 10pm - 7am |

We are working with an established **Food Production Company **based in **Youngstown, OH. **They are recruiting for an **Maintenance Technician **to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift in return for a salary in the region of **$28 - $33 p/h **along with shift differential, excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.

Duties as an Maintenance Technician :

• Performed preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyors, and production equipment
• Troubleshot and repaired mechanical issues using manuals and technical specifications
• Identified faults through observation and precision measuring tools
• Adjusted equipment using hand tools and alignment instruments
• Reduced downtime through preventive maintenance and operator support
• Fabricated replacement parts using shop equipment
• Provided maintenance support and technical guidance to team members
• Prepared maintenance reports and tracked performance trends
• Communicated issues and updates across shifts and teams
• Maintained a safe and compliant work environment
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshot 110V, 240V, and 480V systems
• Supported team operations and overall production goals

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends
• Basic math, communication, and ability to read manuals and safety documents
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Skilled in welding, brazing, and shop equipment (lathes, mills)
• Able to bend, reach, climb, and work in confined spaces
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical dexterity
• Able to detect equipment issues through sight and sound
